February 6 - 9
Ballet level 1A (and up) students will participate in their class "Mini-performance awards" during their class time this week.  Each dancer will present the performance awards level they have learned to their fellow students and parents.  We hope the students see the progress they have made in their dancing and celebrate the achievements of each other together.  Each participant this week will receive a certificate from SCCDT for their work.

Jun Div 1 - will occur on Thurs, Feb 9, Jun Div 2 - will occur on Tues, Feb 7, Jun Div 3A will occur on Tues, Feb 7, Jun Div 3B will occur on Thur, Feb 9

Jun Div 4/5 - will occur on Thur, Feb 9

February 11 -- 4pm and 6pm at Oak Pointe Elementary School in Irmo SC

• The Performance Awards program is part of the SCCDT ballet syllabus.  It is one of the measuring tools we use to evaluate dance abilities in each level.   It helps us know what we are teaching in each level, and what will be learned next.  Every ballet student in our school is learning the Performance Awards program.
• The Performance Awards are a series of distinctive choreographic compositions over 12 levels, which your students’ perform before an audience of parents and friends.

Dec 9 and 10 - Four performances - Dec 9th 7:45pm, Dec 10th 12pm, 4pm, 7:45pm

In the hustle and bustle of this season, it is so easy to miss the true meaning of Christmas. We want to invite you to an experience that you won't soon forget.

Performances are at the new Harbison Theater at Midlands Technical College in Irmo:

• Friday, December 9th at 7:45p
• Saturday, December 10th at 12 noon, 4p and 7:45p.

With music from Toby Mac, Tchaikovsky, Michael W. Smith, Point of Grace and more... you will be inspired and entertained as dancers from more than 200 Midlands families present a story about a little boy with no place to go for Christmas.

There's absolutely no admission fee, no tickets. SC Christian Dance Theater offers these shows free of charge so that those who come may donate to two great community organizations - Hannah House and Acts Metro.

Bring the whole family.
